Through the Eyes of a Death Doula follows end-of-life doulas as they support people and families through dying, death, and grief. Doulas are non-medical companions. They help people plan, sit vigil, advocate for a person’s wishes, and stay with families afterward. The film spends time in living rooms, care homes, and community gatherings, and asks what it would mean for any of us to be ready.
